With the help of media creation tool am trying to clean install windows 11, after booting I am unable to use mouse at all. would appreciate any help.

A wired mouse should work fine.  If there is a problem with a wired mouse (it can happen) then there are keyboard controls you can use.

 

To move the mouse cursor with a keyboard during Windows 11 installation, press Left Alt + Left Shift + Num Lock to enable "Mouse Keys". Use the numeric keypad keys (\(1\)-\(9\)) to move the cursor, with the number \(5\) for clicking.  Maybe this picture is better
