I have an HP Victus 15 laptop that I purchased on October 4th, with the warranty expiring the very next day. This morning, I turned it on at 4:00 AM for a Zoom class. After joining the class and using it for about 5 minutes, the laptop suddenly powered off without any warning. When I tried to turn it back on, there was no response at all — no lights, no fan noise, no screen activity. I then connected the charger to check if it was a battery issue, but there was still zero indication, not even a charging LED. I confirmed the charger itself is working fine by testing it separately. I also tried a hard reset by unplugging the charger and holding the power button, but nothing changed. Since the warranty expires tomorrow, I need to get a support ticket logged with HP today to ensure the issue is covered, especially since this is a known failure pattern reported by other Victus 15 users — typically caused by a motherboard power-circuit fault or battery failure resulting in complete power loss even when connected to a working charger.
