Notebook HP 15-r005la
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (32-bit)

Hi,

Recently a friend brought me this Notebook HP 15-r005la with several damages. Seems like somebody with barely knowledge on laptops removed its cooling fan and heat sink, wifi board, etc and really messed it up all around.

Now, I'm trying to put everything back together and getting spare parts, however I can't find the correct fan and heat sink PN's 753894-001 & 766503-001, however I'm not sure yet if those are the correct parts for this Notebook.

By the other hand, I'm also looking for its WLAN Modules board finding these probably PN's:

Ralink RT3290LE 802.11bgn 1x1 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 Combo Adapter 690020-005
Realtek RT8723BE 802.11bgn 1x1 Wi-Fi + BT4.0 Combo Adapter 753077-005
Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11bgn Wi-Fi Adapter 709848-005

All your help wlll be very welcome.

Hi:

Below is the link to the product specs for the model notebook you have.

https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c04296195

Notebooks that come with the Pentium or Celeron processors did not come with cooling fans.

Chapter 3, page 19 of the service manual has the part number for the heat sink you need for notebooks with the Pentium processors...

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04409502

For use in models with Intel Pentium or Celeron processors and UMA graphics    767537-001

I would go with the Realtek RT8723BE 802.11bgn 1x1 Wi-Fi + BT4.0 Combo Adapter 753077-005

That model wifi card works best on notebooks with only a single antenna cable.
