Notebook HP Pavilion dv6500 Cpu upgrade

Im looking for a cpu upgrade in my HP Pavilion dv6500, but i dont know what is the best cpu i could buy for it.
My actual cpu is an (amd taurion 64 x2)

The supported AMD processors can be found in chapter 1.

Looks like the best you can do would be the Turion TL-66 (2.3 -GHz, 1-MB L2 cache)

Im having some hesitation to choose betwen amd and intel, witch one would you recomend to work/programing?

Hi:

If your notebook came with an AMD Turion processor, an Intel processor is not supported.

Your only option would be the TL-66.

The dv6500 model series has notebooks that came with Intel processors and chipsets, and AMD processors and Nvidia chipsets, and you can't mix parts.
