Notebook Hardware and Upgrade

I have a Hewlett-Packard 17-cn3165ds  , I want to add more storage but it has no physical drive , do I have to copy all of my files onto a external hard drive and add a M.2 NVMe SSD

I believe that model comes with an Intel Celeron N100 processor and a 128 GB UFS drive which cannot be upgraded, nor are there any provisions to add a M.2 SSD or 2.5" SSD.
