The Maintenence & Service guide for your notebook says that it supports up to 6GB.
It appears that it is not so upgradeable.
I suggest that you contact an online memory vendor, perhaps Crucial memory, and ask what they have for upgrading memory to 8GB that they guarantee to be compatible with your notebook model. That shifts the trial and error to them.
There is aCrucial System Scanner at the Crucial website that you can download to find compatible memory.
