Hi there,
I recently updated my Nvidia graphics driver then started to get the blue screen with VIDEO TDR Failure so I uninstalled/ re-installed my graphics drivers and this has stopped appearing. Unfortunately my Nvidia control panel now won't open and World of Warcraft isn't recognising my Nvidia graphics, it only gives me the option of the intel one. I have tried uninstalling/ re-installing drivers, GeForce experience and even my security software as someone suggested that might interfere. I have updated all appropriate software and tried a complete reset of the laptop but nothing has worked, Please Help!

Hi@Polly221,
Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!
I see you are experiencing blue screen issues with the HP Omen Notebook Nvidia is not working correctly.
I have a few recommendations
- Update your Notebook computer to latest BIOS from HP.COM.
- Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date.
- Run HP PC Hardware Diagnostics Windows is a Windows-based utility that allows you to run diagnostic tests to determine whether the computer hardware is functioning properly. The tool runs within the Windows operating system in order to diagnose hardware failures.
The HP Cloud Recovery Tool allows you to download recovery software to a USB drive. You can use the downloaded recovery image file in order to install the Windows operating system.
Click here for the HP Cloud Recovery Tool (Windows 10) link.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hi there,
As stated in my original post I have stopped getting the blue screen since re-installing my drivers. My issue is that the laptop is not recognising the graphics card and Nvidia control panel will no longer open so that I can set the graphics card as default.
Thanks
Polly

Thanks for your response.
If the NVIDIA Control Panel won't open, this could be the result of outdated drivers, Windows updates, or hung processes.
May I know if you have updated all the drivers on your system? If not, please use the link below and update all the drivers: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_2857204-2362249-16
Keep me posted on the outcome.
