Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a hp pavilion gaming notebook - 15-ak021tx. now I wish to upgrade my laptop storage by Samsung 970 EVO plus NVMe M.2 250Gb ssd. I perfectly plugged into my laptop. but its not detected.

Hi:

 

The reason for your dilemma is the M.2 slot your notebook has only supports SATA SSD's not NVMe.

 

Return/exchange the NVMe drive for a SATA one, and your problem will be resolved.

 

See chapter 1 page 2 of the service manual for the supported drive types...
