I found my new HP Omen 15 2020 AMD's doesnt stop when it's just chrome on. CPU temperature was around 54C after i had turned off all my game and only chrome was on. The fan will run permanantly from the time i play game till i shut down my laptop, cant stop it. Is my laptop have a thermal problem or a fan problem?

Check in the BIOS to ensure that the Fan option of always on isn't enabled.
Do be aware that since it is an Omen and a laptop instead of a desktop it will tend to run with fans on.

It's normal especially if you run the latest windows update and bios.... I think that's because with the latest update,, CPU tend to works on the best performance as they can if you plugged in.... That's why it runs hotter than before...
But if you run on battery, you'll notice the temp is cooler,, because on battery mode the CPU will step down their performance a little and it will make the fans not run permanently...
For safety reason,, i think it's better this way to have your one fans (left fans) runs continuously... so you wont have to worry about the heat... Just make sure, both of your fans are not spinning on maximum speed when you just open chrome... because it means that you have thermal problem...
