In my HP account the system says my phone number is not available. I have had this number and email account since 1999, and am unaware of any other ways to login to HP. Need help getting account to allow my phone number to be added.

Here’s what you can try next:

Check Account Region Settings

Log in at HP Account Login.

 

Go to Profile > Personal Information.

Ensure your country/region is correctly set to where your phone number is registered. Sometimes mismatched regions block phone numbers.

 

Format the Number Correctly

Enter with full country code (e.g., +1 for US, +49 for Germany).

Avoid spaces or dashes, HP systems often require just digits after the country code.

 

Try a Different Browser / Device

Use Chrome, Edge, or Firefox.

If possible, try on your phone’s browser to see if it accepts the number.
