I ordered a laptop from the UK hp store on 13th May 2020. When I placed an order it says that the product is in stock, after I placed the order it says Estimated delivery date was 22nd May 2020. I waited until the delivery date then checked the order status but it says 'waiting for stock'. So, I emailed customer service but the only information I received was the same as I can see on the website and the support member responded with:‘We are awaiting a reply from our Logistics Team with regard to a dispatch date of your order As soon as we receive an update, we will email you again’.
I have already received part of my order which was a mouse. But I would kind of like the rest of my order.
I would like to know how long typically laptops take to stock as I’ve read a few negative reviews and most people said that they had to wait a long time to get their order. I can’t wait a long time that's why I would like to know how long it takes. I need the laptop for work and can’t wait much longer. If it will take a long time I would like to cancel my order and buy another laptop somewhere else. Also, I don't understand why the website said it was available and when it comes out of stock I have to wait. Why is the store selling something which is not available and Misleads the consumer by giving incorrect information about the availability?
