Hello. I want to buy a new battery for my HP Envy m6 m6-1125dx notebook. I got report from BIOS that it cant hold a complete charge anymore and should be replaced. I want to know where I can find original batteries for this model, and if there are larger batteries, I think mine is a 6 cell battery, and I think I saw years ago this model has a 8. Now doing some research I found some people mentioned there is a 9 cell option, don't know the part number of the 9 cell option, and I don't know where to find original ones, or how to know if one is original or not?.
MO06 battery
Battery part number: 671731-001
Thanks for the help.

2 possible batteries:
9-cell, 100-Wh, 3.0-Ah, Li-ion battery 672412-001
6-cell, 62-Wh, 2.8-Ah, Li-ion battery 671731-001
The 9 cell bulges a bit and lifts the rear of the laptop. HP no longer has these batteries for sale and if you insist on a new original battery you risk getting old stock that has sat on a shelf for years. For a laptop this old your best solution is a third party compatible battery offered by a seller with high feedback ratings. Post back if you want help finding something to use.

That's a shame. Ok, I will need your help to find something good then. When I searched on eBay I found batteries around 15$, but I don't know, I don't trust a notebook battery that cheap, or am I wrong?. The 9 cell would be better, I don't mind the extra space it uses, but if there is none, a 6 cell would be sufficient. Thanks again.

I assume you are seeing offerings like this:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/293616007554?hash=item445ce0b982:g:REcAAOSw3xViBMaB
These batteries will be less expensive because this was likely the most common highest volume laptop battery ever made. The makers sold enough of them to make back their costs and its pure profit now. But I am having trouble finding a seller to ship to Paraguay. I think you will have to find a seller out of China as they ship worldwide.

Thanks!. Did you find one of the 9 cell variety?, I can't find one to be trusted, every review has one problem, don't know if it is smart to invest more than double the cost (the cheapest I found is 40 USD) of the one you sent me the link, or the 9 cell option will last much more hours?. This are the 9 cell options I found:
The last years of my original battery, it lasted on full charge like an hour or hour and a half. Can't remember when it was new, how much it lasted. So if the 9 cell can at least double to three hours, it can be a good investment, otherwise I will just buy the one you recommended, the 6 cell option.
As for the shipping, I have an address on the US and they send to my country, so no problem in that regard, even from China. I don't think customs on the US will block a battery from arriving in the US, right?.
