HP Envy x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So, I had purchased my HP Envy x360 convertible laptop last September (2019) from Staples. I purchased their extended 2 years of service protection as I needed to get through school with this computer.

The computer over the year has experienced many instances of generating excessive amounts of heat while doing absolutely nothing with the laptop, and running no apps.

The end of September 2020 rolls around, and my computer decides to overheat and reach extremely high temperatures, unlike anything I have ever seen before. I couldn't do anything with the computer so I brought it in to Staples as it continued to go into overheating overdrive. Needless to say, it had to be sent in for repairs. It would have been outside of the 1 year manufacturer's warranty issued from HP, but luckily I had my 2 years of coverage.

2 weeks later I receive my laptop, and they had to replace the motherboard and the fan. No issues with the ac adapter, however.

I performed a Bios update as well, as it hadn't been updated since September 2020.

After using it today for a half an hour, again, excessive heat is coming out of the computer, and the only thing I was running was Microsoft Teams.

I came to the chat to find a result, and someone (Raj kumar Kanaparthi) had suggested to end the process of Windows Audio Device Graphic Isolation in task manager, which stopped my fan from running on blast and the laptop from producing excessive amounts of heat.

Please FIX this issue HP, it is a KNOWN ISSUE with this computer, and still exists as of October 2020 on a model of your computer from 2018...
