Hello,
I bought an HP Spectre x360 14-ea0775ng some time ago and installed Ubuntu MATE in it (20.04 LTS). Since then, I keep having a strange behavior every now and then: the computer slowly crashes, with each process breaking down, one by one, until eventually nothing works anymore. At this point, I have to force-shutdown the computer by holding the power button. and I have the impression the problem has to do with the NVMe, since I am unable to save any work when it starts.
But my question here is a different one. At this point, I am unable to tell whether the problem is a software problem (which means I just have to wait until the Linux community solves it) or whether it is a hardware problem.
Is there a way I can get help from HP to figure it out, or maybe use the warranty to get a new PC to see if the problem goes away?
