Hi,

I have an HP Laptop 15s-eq2xxx

I tried to charge it with a 5V power bank and it didn't work. I read the problem is that the power bank doesn't have enough power. I would like to know if someone knows if the USB-C Port on my laptop accepts PD Charging from it. I want to buy a 100W Power bank... But first I want to know if my laptop is capable of charging through this port.

Thanks,

Federico

What is your HP Laptop 15s-eq2xxx ? It should have SAME ports as the following machine

           HP Laptop 15s-gr0012AU

It ONLY has 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to

  • Charge your machine,
  • Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter

Regards.

Hi,

Thanks. What are my options then? Should I buy a power bank with the same watts and amps. As the original charger and connect it there?

Which power bank do you recommend for my computer please?

Thanks,

Federico

I did say you can NOT charge your machine using USB-C port.

Hope that makes sense.

Regards.
