Hi, so the story began an hour ago when I accidentally fell asleep and leave my laptop on battery power. Just when I woke up, I found the "battery low" windows warning and before I could do anything, it began to shut down. I bought this laptop a year and a half ago (18 months) in a fresh, brand new condition (not a used laptop) and admittedly (*sigh), I have experienced this situation (running out of battery) 3 times in the last 3 or 4 months (I know, bad habit, I'll just plug my laptop non-stop the next time I'm pulling a full night for assignments).
Even so, an hour ago, I fell asleep (as I have mentioned), and unlike what has happened (multiple times) before, it showed a battery life warning on startup. I immediately run battery checker on HP Support Assistant, and the result is just as the picture showed. I don't really know how big of a trouble this is, and I have some other questions:
1. How bad is this problem (I know this question sounds kind of ignorant, but truth is I will need to use this laptop by next week (not to mention my professors are already starting to give me assignment though it's still holiday))
2. If the problem is critical, where should I start?
(note: though I bought this laptop 18 months ago, the checker said my battery is 2 years and a month old)

Hi, sorry for a late reply. I've tried to re-run the test through the method you were attaching, and thankfully it's actually doing fine. I run the fast check on the system test and I also run some of the component test; both passed the test without failure. I also successfully generate the detailed laptop battery report and truth is my battery's capacity is doing fine; 81.2% capacity, is pretty fair considering all the times I've spent pulling an all-night for my 3D modelling and tons of rendering assignments.
I assume the previous test results were inaccurate due to the power depletion that my battery suffered while I fell asleep. Thank you kind sir, your methods have drove me away from spending mounts of time to fix/replace a not-so-broken battery (though I'll regularly generate the detailed battery report to keep an eye to my battery capacity degradation).
Cheers,

You are welcome.
81% is a reasonable result.
Keep an eye on it.
Now you have the Battery Report to use as a base line for the future.
Stay Safe!
