HP PAVILION DV6

Hello HP,  I recently upgraded the RAM of my notebook PC HP pavilion dv6 from 3GB to 8GB. The system now repeatedly crashes. I have uninstalled recently downloaded software but the problem remains. Please help.

@Barde1997 It's best to check if the device supports the memory module of your choice before upgrading the same, here's what I see on your product's service and maintenance guide: click here for details

And here's a screenshot of what's in it:

If you are using DDR3, 1333mhz and yet have the issues, I suggest you update the BIOS and the Chip set drivers using the HP website and check if it fixes the issue.
