Hallo there. I want to change/upgrade all upgradable parts of pavilion g7 1372sr. This includes motherboard, processor, memory, keyboard, screen, etc. Basically, every part that can be upgradable. I know that this will cost more money than the original price of the laptop. That is not a problem. I just want to do this. My question is how I can find all these parts. I want to purchase the original unused parts, if possible.
Thanks in advance.

Here is the Service Manual:
You already have the top of the line motherboard. You could upgrade the processor to this:
Intel Core i7-2640M 2.80 GHz (SC turbo up to 3.50 GHz), PGA processor (4.0
MB L3 cache, dual core, 35 W)
666173-001
There is no upgrade for the screen. Max memory is 8 gigs DDR3. You have 6. Not sure what you want to upgrade with the keyboard. HP will no longer have any spare parts for this model you would have to get them from parts houses. It should not be hard to find a new processor. You would want to install a solid state drive instead of the mechanical hard drive. At the end of the day you still have a laptop that is getting close to being obsolete and will not be capable of any serious gaming.
Laptops are creatures of the era in which they were first made. You cannot take an older laptop and bring it up to current specs, as the parts are one-off proprietary. Newer components just will not fit in the laptop.

Thanks for the reply. I already have another laptop. I just do not want to throw this away. I can also change the DVD burner, speakers, wireless card, right? I tried to search them using their spare part numbers, but I could not find anything. Is there any other way of finding those parts?
