Hi, I decided to clean my laptop but I cannot open the base enclosure. I found the service manual(here ) and removed all the screws but the case seems to be stuck somewhere in the middle and I don't want to push it very hard.

P.S. I have never done this so I have no experience in opening laptops

Thanks for help.

Service Guide

Assuming you have actually removed all the screws, the guide does say you need to pry open the base.

"Slide a non-marking, non-conductive pry tool around the edge of the base enclosure to loosen it (1), taking care not to damage the internal clips, and then remove the base enclosure (2)"

Double check the screws to be sure they are all removed, then find something to gently pry the two halves apart.
