I just bought this laptop because it had the possibility to install a second hard drive in addition to the ssd already mounted.
I watched some tutorials, opened the shell up and was greeted by the lack of connector. Pics: https://imgur.com/a/KnNxqCf
(the last one is how it should be, taken from a youtube video)
My question is: what connector should I buy and where? (I'm located in Italy and I don't really want to wait 2 months shipping from China)
Also, where can I find an appropriate hdd caddy?
thanks in advance!

@RufusLoacker Welcome to HP Community!
Here's the parts tested and approved to work on your device:
For details on how to replace the SSD: Click here and visit page. 49 of Component replacement procedures.
That said, if you wish to add a second hard drive, most likely it would come with the relevant cables if it doesn't, you can get the SATA connectors at the local store,
I personally suggest you take the device to the tech store and have them connect the appropriate cables to be on a safer side.

I've already been to a store near me and they said that the SATA cable for my model don't even exist. What's the name of the part I would need?

Hard drive brackets are available using spare part number L19469-001.
The hard drive cable is available using spare part number L23889-001.
I hope that helps.

Thanks, unfortunately it didn't really help: it seems those parts do not exist (or are at least not orderable from the HP parts store). How can I find them?
I bought this laptop exactly because it had the possibility of adding an HDD, but if I can't find the parts I'm forced to return it and never buy another HP device again, if this is the support they give...
