HP Pavilion Gaming - 15-dk0156ng
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

i've put quite some effort into research already, but I cannot find any statifiying answer on this Issue wich seems to be asked many times already.

I have bought an HP Pavilion 15-dk0156ng. According to the specifications it supports Power Delivery 3.0 via USB-C. But I cannot get it charged though.

It is connected to a HP G4-docking station with newest firmware installed. I've also tried a 100W USB-C charger that was not accepted either. Though the original (barrel) charger of the Notebook delivers 150 W I do not believe that the Power of the docking Station is insufficient since I can charge the Notebook with the 90W (barrel) charger of the Docking station.

I've Updated all the drivers via Windows Update and HP Support Tool, the BIOS is at the newest version as well. Is there any step i've missed? Are the Product specifications just misleading?

Any help would be appreciated.
