we should all file complaints at the BBB. I'm going to file mine now since they don't seem to help. I've also called their customer service who wanted 300-500$ then when i asked for a manager i was told they'll call me back within 48 hours and guess what it's been over a week. if this continues and it will not be fixed then I will obviously not pay to repair it for this cost but will have to buy a new one which will not be an HP one.
let me tell you a little story about how a normal company runs itself. a while ago
i had an iphone 6 i've been using around 3 years . Iphones of this model has a problem if they get hit or fall and their screen shuts off . anyways to make long story short it was my fault, I had it for 3 years and the solution apple gave me was a brand new phone of this model for 99$. maybe HP should learn how to treat their customers.

I am having the same problem with this laptop and just bought this in March 2020 for my teenager. She is careful with her property, but anytime she adjusts the screen, more of it breaks off. I was hoping this would carry her for the next few years.

they will ask you for 300-500$ to repair it.
we should all complain together at the better business bureau:
they make sure businesses conduct in a fair a way. I don't think this is fair that this is fair after barely using this laptop something like this should happen.
I keep calling asking to talk to a manager and i'm not being transferred. my husband is a lawyer and doesn't mind to file a lawsuit for all of us but how will we find each other?

Hi
I read your post which listed that you created a FB group called: "x360 defected product"
However I went to FB, and did a search under groups and couldn't find such a group.
I also have an HP Pavilion x360 Laptop with the exact same issue.
The screen popped out, the internal screws came off, and now even the metal hinge that helps rotate the laptop popped out of the screen. So I have a slanted screen that wont stay up and needs support for the screen not to fall back.
Thanks,
