Hi everyone! I really hope that someone can help me.
I need to transfer photos from a sd card onto my laptop, but when I inserted the card nothing came up. I tried going to the device manager, and could not find my card reader anywhere. I've checked under all the drop-down lists and there's nothing related to card readers.
I tested the card on another laptop and it works properly. I thought perhaps I need to install a driver, but I'm not sure which one. This laptop came pre-installed with Windows 10.
The product number is 1KU29UA#ABA
Any help is much appreciated, I am not very computer literate. Thank you!!!

Appreciate you trying the steps. Please try testing the hardware using these steps -
1. Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
2. Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
3. On the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) main menu, click System Tests.
4. Click Extensive Test.
Keep me posted.
