I disabled secure boot and enabled legacy boot in BIOS. No luck.

So you can't find the ssd at the list at all? Or you just can't install os on it? I found this commend on one video about the nvme ssd's it might actually help or at least worth the shot! I'll link a screenshot of the comment

@Naikou,

I cannot find it at all. Not in the BIOS; not in Windows; not in Windows USB installer bootup. It is entirely vanished.

hmmm... I guess you've tried to unattach and back if it coul have somehow bad connection? I'm now really scared if I just bought the ssd for nothing if I have the same problems..

I suggest you to make a new thread about this one. Then the hp employees reply and know how to help! just remember to put exact computer model number and variation if there is many.

Hey have you got any solutions yet? If not go here to intel's website and download this driver. Install it on the windows install menu, this whould fix the problem windows not detecting the m.2 ssd

@Naikou

No, it does not work.

The problem lies in BIOS or hardware or a disabled port. If it cannot be recognized by the BIOS, it will not show up in the OS

I actually message the guy from a HP repair centre here in Malaysia. And he told me most NVME m.2 ssd are not supported. Only SATA m.2 ssd. So if you wanna use the m.2 for boot drive, recommended to use SATA instead of the NVME.

@DiamondNiX

Right. I have even tried the older Samsung PM961 and it does not work.

 @Naikou

Does your Intel 760p work?

You might have something wrong with the laptop itself like warranty -type issue perhaps?

But I haven't even got it by now to the mail... I'm so frustrated for the waiting because I just want to get to try it on my laptop.. I hope I'll get it very soon.
