Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've had this problem from day 1 and searching on the internet it seems to be a common problem. Basically the top left side of the laptop heats up so much that it burns to the touch. Also fan becomes noisy. I've tried the following settings with no effect:

- installing coolsense latest

- set following in advanced power plan:

      >>>> System Cooling Policy (Passive-slows processor before increasing fan speed)

      >>>> Maximum Processor State (95%-specifies max performance state of processor)

- in bios set FAN ALWAYS ON to active but no effect eitherway

I really at this point dont care about performance, and dont mind sacrificing performance if it means the laptop doesnt overheat anymore, so any suggestions as to what can be done to make sure that the laptop performance is not maxed out causing this heat spike.

Note: HP support assistant showing all latest drivers and firmware installed. Same with Windows update.

How long before someone answers? I provided the information you asked last week.

@alamari I've been informed that the case has been routed to the regional team and they should be contacting you shortly,

Let us know if you don't hear from them in the next 2-3 business days, as there could have been a delay due to the pandemic.

Due to the current global COVID-19 situation, we're seeing an influx of customers coming in for support and we appreciate your patience.

Not sure why still there are delays and why rerouting is necessary. However, I really hope that the regional team speaks English, as I don't want to wait all this time only to be rerouted back somewhere else.

@alamari I'll let them know about your requirements, thanks.
