Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Pavillion DV7T-6000 laptop and I want to add a second internal HDD. Can you tell me the proper parts to order to do this?

Hello, you need the bracket and the connection cable. If you don't know if it is included in your laptop, you can open the tray to check, see page 57 of your maintenance manual:

If you don't have this parts, you can buy it with this reference:

  The primary HDD that came in my laptop from HP is HP Part Number 625235.  That part number is not listed in the Maintenance Manual.  But I now know that I need to order the connection cable and the 5400 RPM 750 Gb HDD to complete the upgrade.

Yes, that looks like the cable for HDD1 in my laptop.  The cable for HDD2 needs to be much longer.
