I want to upgrade form 4gb to 8 gb of ram, I have 4gb in slot 1 (Samsung 1333 mhz) can i just add another 4gb to slot 2

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

 

I see you need help in upgrading the Ram, on HP Pavilion G7 Notebook notebook. Don't worry as I have a few suggestions which should help you. After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that you have 4GB DDR3 System Memory (1 DIMM) drive installed on the PC.

To get the answer to this question, Maximum supported = 8GB
