HP Recommended

I have a Surface pen that connects to my Envy 17t-cr1000 but will not work on the touchscreen. Touchscreen works fine with finger. I bought this machine only after much research including reading many support questions that verified that the 17t touchscreen is pen/stylus compatible. The pen works fine on my Surface Book but not with this HP. Any help is appreciated.
