I have Hp Notebook-15-ay009ne (ENERGY STAR). I buy it in 2016. since last 20 days the battery is not fully charging and when the Power adapter plugged in to laptop but when I point the mouse over Battery icon it showed "Plugged in, not Charging). It shows after 50 to 60% battery charged, and battery charged only 70 to 72% maximum.
Another major issue is that after 30% battery charged through its original ac adater battery icon shows continuously connected and disconnected from ac adapter power and this showing several times in a minute when laptop connected to ac adapter.
I removed battery from laptop and after this connected laptop to ac adater and my laptop working fine. Then i realise that this is a battery issue. I can try many other solutions also like update my bios version to latest comes through Hp Support Assistant update but not working for me.
I can try to solve this issue through HP PC Hardware diagonestic windows 1.5.4.0 through component testing but it also not working for me.
I can also try to solve this issue through hp support assistant battery check and it shows 'OK' battery status. I have attach that screenshot.
