Where would I find that information?

You have given me the basic results of the battery test. There is a link to open up a more extensive list of results that tells a whole lot more about the health of the battery. That is what we need. Work with us here, please.

Found something where I could run in powershell.  Shows Design capacity 41,753 mWh with Full charge capacity 38,392 mWh.

Is this more of what you are looking for?

That's like 10% of it:

I see nothing overtly wrong with the battery. Has 38/41 of its original charge capacity and only 18 cycles. Was the adapter plugged in when you ran the test because it is saying no AC adapter. I'm starting to come around to a charging port theory on your problem. Much more complicated issue than a bad battery.

HP Recommended

Yes, it was plugged in.

Not being detected unless it is at just the right angle, correct? Sorry to say it appears to be a bad charging port.

HP Recommended

That is correct.  And, that is sporadic.  I'm afraid it's just going to stop charging altogether.

Thanks again for your help.  Will have to take to a repair center.
