Hi @IlyosYTs

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It sounds like your battery is severely degraded, especially if AIDA64 reports 0% wear, meaning it’s no longer holding charge effectively. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and determine if a replacement is necessary:

Troubleshooting Steps

Run HP Battery Diagnostics

  • Open HP Support Assistant and go to Battery Check.
  • If you don’t have HP Support Assistant, download it from HP’s website.
  • If the battery health report confirms degradation, replacement is likely needed.

Check Power Settings

  • Open Settings > System > Power & Battery.
  • Set Power Mode to Best Power Efficiency.
  • Reduce screen brightness and disable unnecessary background apps.

Calibrate the Battery

  • Charge the laptop to 100%, then let it drain completely until it shuts down.
  • Recharge to 100% without interruption.
  • This can help recalibrate battery readings.

Update BIOS & Drivers

  • Go to HP’s support page for your model and check for BIOS or power management updates.
  • Install any available updates that might improve battery efficiency.

Let me know if you need help running diagnostics or checking warranty details!
