A few months ago, i fixed my Fan error /BOD critical error on my laptop by cleaning our the fan and removing a strip of tape that was obstructing it from spinning.

In the process, I removed my battery.

I calibrated the battery and my laptop worked smoothly for about 2months, then it started giving me a battery error.

The battery error comes on and off  and  now I have the "blue screen of Death"

Could someone please help me with a solution that doesn't need me to buy a new battery?

Well have you run a diagnostic test on the battery from HP Support Assistant? The almost certain source of a battery issue is the battery. Not 100% but close. It's like asking someone to help with a car that won't start but don't tell me to buy a new battery.

Your analogy is off, in the sense that, there could be other problems that do not necessarily  need you to buy a new  battery.

But-

Yes I did run Diagnostics.   Hp support shows  :battery normal. Discharging 100%

Then ran an Uefi and it requested calibration .

I cannot do the calibration  yet since I don't  know if to leave the adapter on or off.

And I'm afraid the Bsod will appear out of nowhere.

Anyway kindly advise .

And other things can cause a car not to start besides the battery but doctors have an old saying. When you hear hoofbeats think horses not zebras. I would love to see the full detailed output of the battery health test, by the way. More to it than normal or not normal. When calibrating you want to have the AC power attached. The app will discharge and charge the battery, but one sign of a problem battery is that it will not calibrate properly. Last perhaps silly question. How old is the battery? If over about 2.5 years the odds its a bad battery increase. Actually, the battery's being bad is about the best option. Anything else that can give symptoms such as you describe would likely involve the charging circuit which is a motherboard failure and much more expensive to replace than a battery.
