Print Screen - partial not whole desktop. HP Keyboard Shortcuts - full list

I want to copy only the current screen, not the whole desktop with it.

I've tried the Alt+Prt Scr key to get a window only as suggested, plus a combination of other keys with PrtScr but none work. 

Where can we find variations of the same? E.g., Copy and Paste or "Save As" if I want to send it as an attachment?

Also, where can I find all Keyboard Shortcuts for my full size keyboard for my particular HP laptop?

Create a Snip of the information on the page > save the snipped image as a .jpg file > send or print that file.
