Hello,

I just imaged a computer with Windows 10 1903 Enterprise x64. Everything is fine except a missing hardware, which is the Bluetooth. I tried all package in HP Image Assistant and HP Softpack Manager. They all extract but nothing get installed. If I try to force a inf, the device then fail to start.

See if the W10 driver from Intel works...the 64 bit driver is the first one listed on the left.

Hi:

Isn't that hardware ID 8087?

There is no such ID that I know of that begins with 8987.

If it is 8087, then you need to install the Intel Bluetooth driver from the 650 G1 support page...

This package contains the driver installation package for the Intel Bluetooth in the supported computer models that are running a supported operating system.

Hello,

Yes it is 8087, typo. This softpack doesn't work, it plainly does nothing. Already tried 😞

Thank you!

You're very welcome.

What model Intel wifi adapter does the notebook you're working on have?

Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6235

That fixed it. Kind of weird I don't need to do it on the ProBook 640 G1 with the exact same device and hardware. Thanks!

Do you by any chance know the silent install switch? I tried /?, /quit /q /qn, none works 😞

I manage to do it by extracting the install file. Do you by any chance know how to get the brightness button working? It work in Windows 10 1709, but not in 1903.

You're very welcome.

If the graphics driver is installed, the only suggestion I can offer regarding the brightness button working would be to (re)install the latest hotkey driver.
