I recently bought a new HP laptop and purchased an additional HP care pack which increases my laptop's warranty to 3 years.
But when i try to register my HP care pack, the web page shows " Not a valid HP Care Pack Serial Number".
I used the following link to register my HP care pack but every time I try, it shows the same error.
https://h30125.www3.hp.com/HPCSN/ELFOnline/elf_registration_physical_intro.aspx?code=ELER:31:-USA
And I am sure that the Care Pack Serial Number is accurate.

Dear David,
I have a similar problem as abhinav_b, since I'm not able to register my product (HP 250G 5 notebook).
I tried to follow your steps, but it seems that in my country (Hungary) there's no contact support option on the local webpage.
Can you give me a recommedation on this issue? With whom should I get in contact to register my product?
Many thanks in advance!
Tomazzi

Abhinav this side, actually HP takes some days to update their systems with the new Care Packs that have been purchased.
So, wait for 2-3 days and try again (I did the same and it worked out for me, actually they themselves registered the Care Pack).
So you can try waiting for few days although a call at the Customer Care may help in speeding up the process.
If you can't call, you can chat with HP assistants using HP Support Assistant Software (under the Need Assistance option) (If that is available in your country).
Hope I my advice may have been of some use to you.
