I have problem with battery in my hp laptop. I don't know if hp laptops always have this problem with poor battery quality or it's just my bad luck. For some time i have the issue that computer shuts down suddenly when I'm using it on battery power. I have installed BatteryBar and when battery is fully loaded it shows it capacity as 37 500 mWh. When battery capacity is around 20% the laptop goes into sleep mode because of critical battery (in Windows it is set to 3% remaining) When I run computer again it shows 0% battery and BatteryBar shows battery capacity as 27 000 mWh but laptop can run on 0% for example 1h until it shuts down again.
Another case: I'm using laptop and it shows 30% battery remaining. I completely shutdown the computer and when I run it again the next day it shows 10% battery remaining (It wasn't put to sleep mode or hibernation but shut off)
I tried to do manual battery calibration (loaded it and unloaded), but it seems it doesn't help. Battery is so unpredictable that I don't know how long it's gonna work.
Maybe battery is damaged some way?
Thank you for help in advance

I reviewed your post and I understand that the battery is not working correctly.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I recommend you update the BIOS from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp112001-112500/sp112278.exe
If you continue facing the issue, then reinstalled Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery under device manager.
Here is how you do it.
Step 1: Click the Windows “Start” button and right-click “Computer.”
Step 2: Click “Manage,” then “Device Manager.”
Step 3: Click the “Batteries” section. A list of devices will appear.
Step 4: Right-click the “Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery” device and click “Uninstall.”
Step 5: Click the “Action” menu item and “Scan for Hardware Changes” to reinstall the driver.
Restart the computer and the issue should be fixed.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
