Hello!

I am trying to upgrade my laptop processor and would surely appreciate any info regarding this issue.

Model TPN-F102 with Intel Celeron B800 1.5 Ghz. Can I install i5 or i7 and what model?

Sorry No. Here is the Manual:

See p. 21. There is a motherboard for the Pentium/Celeron processors like yours and then a different motherboard for the Intel Core (i5, etc) processors. Which means you cannot put the Intel Core processor on your motherboard and have it work right.

 

There is one motherboard that takes Celeron or Core 2 Duo processors so if you have that motherboard you could install a Core 2 Duo, but I gather that is not what you want to do.
