HI 

i would like to upgrade my laptop's processor, it had intel pentium installed

but i thought to upgrade to i5. just wanted some suggestions is it compatible or not. which is better yet budget friendly

Hi,

 

It is not possible to upgrade the CPU as it comes integrated on the motherboard. You would need to replace the motherboard which would most likely cost more than buying new PC with deired specs.

 

You can see various motherboards on page 73 of service manual:
