I was thinking of purchasing a :

HP Pavilion Power 15-cb004na 15.6-Inch Full HD Gaming Laptop - (Black) (Intel i5-7300HQ Quad Core , 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 (2 GB Dedicated) Graphics

 

Is there any known flaws/problems with this laptop?

No known problems except your expectations of the gaming performance need to be reasonable. The cost is at the low end for gaming laptops and the GTX 1050 2 GB is barely a gaming video system. Really current demanding games will not register well. But it's much more powerful in terms of video than integrated graphics and will do mid-level type gaming very well or video production CAD type work.
