I have read so many contradictory articles on the internet? How do i take care of my battery and keep it strong for a long time?

First thing to do is relax. The battery is smart. It takes care of itself. Two rules. Don't run it down below about 20%. When you have AC power available use it. When you do not use the battery. If you watch it like a hawk you might extend it a couple months and a battery costs what $50 or $60?
