Product: HP Spectre x360 - 15-ch012nr
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Greetings. The battery on my HP Spectre x360 is puffy and has broken my back laptop cover. The bloated battery has broken the back cover and I can no longer screw down the cover. I have been unable to find the replacement parts for the battery and cover online. Please advise!

 

The battery part number is 928372-855.

The battery replacement can be readily found, such as here: YB06XL Battery For HP Spectre X360 15-ch000 Series 928427-272 928372-855/856 | eBay or here: YB06XL 928372-855 928427-271 Battery for HP Spectre X360 15T-CH000 15-CH000 15-CH0XX 15-CH011DX CH01....

 

The back cover ("BASE ENCLOSURE KBL-G", part number L18076-001) and can be purchased from HP: HP PartSurfer.

Is there a way to purpose an OEM replacement battery? I am not willing to purchase from eBay and need a retailer that has a proper return policy and warranty for the new battery.

The problem is HP doesn't carry your battery anymore (see: HP PartSurfer).

 

If it is some sort of warranty you want, order the part from Amazon or another big retailer, such as this $35 example: Amazon.com: BURFLO 928427-271 Battery 928427-272 for HP Spectre X360 15-CH000 Series 15-CH011DX 15-C....
