Product: ProBook 640 G3
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Qgeem 7 in One adapter, USB-C it appears to load a USB 3 driver when plugged in, but nothing else, I have checked the adapter works in a friends Dell laptop and it works (A newer laptop). - I get video out the HDMI.

Does this laptop support this type of adapter, it is a ProBook 640 G3, Windows 10 64bit? Are there any settings or updates I need. I have tried it in another HP laptop of the same vintage and it doesn't work in that either. I can get no HDMI output.

Hello

 

USB-C port of Probook 640G3 is just an USB 3.0 port with USB-C connector.

 

it deosn't provide DisplayPort video signale. neith Power Delivery.

 

I can't use the USB-C to HDMI adapter.

 

You'd better to buy a DisplayProt-to-HDMI adapter , to connect your HDMI monitor.
