How do I know if my laptop has invisible finger reading? (HP ENVY Laptop 17m-ae011dx) I see it on the HP envy video but I I cant find it on my settings, thank you.

I appreciate your efforts for getting back to us.
As this laptop did not go with biometrics (hardware) Included, you cannot use the fingerprint reader.
It's a hardware component which needs to be included with the laptop to use the fingerprint.
According to the product details, you shared with me this laptop does not have a fingerprint reader built into it.
However, if you still like to use the fingerprint reader on your laptop. You have to purchase an external USB fingerprint reader.
You can search in google for more information about using the external fingerprint reader.

I understand you would like to know if your laptop has finger print reader.
Don't worry I'll try to help you out.
Did you make any software or hardware changes on your PC?
I have checked the specifications of your laptop and it does not have a finger print reader.
Refer the product specifications page of your laptop for more information.

Thank you for your response. I saw the HP video posted on the HP site about this new computer (Envy) and I saw the finger reading there. Which model has it? That's one of the features I like the best and I thought this computer model suppose to have it. Is there a way to install it if is not there? Thank you so much for your help.
