@Sadiq2

I think your machine is 3BN01PA#ACJ (zero), not  3BNO1PA#ACJ  (letter O)  which is an HP Notebook - 15-bs179tx (available in Australia - I think). Its specs

Manual:    http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05493257.pdf

It has M.2 SATA to support dual storage. Not NVMe.

Regards.

Hi, @Sadiq2

You would have to first open up the notebook and check to see if there is a M.2 slot before buying a SATA M.2 SSD (which is the only type supported in your notebook, if it has a M.2 slot).

When you look at the service manual, chapter 3 page 19, there are additional parts necessary to add a M.2 SSD.

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05493257

(20) Solid-state drive board 924992-001
(21) Solid-state drive bracket 924981-001

Most likely those parts are not included unless your notebook came with a M.2 SSD from the factory, which it didn't.

If they are, you are in luck and you can install a M.2 SATA SSD.

No, it is SATA only.
