Can the RAM upgrade from DDR3 to DDR4..current ram used DDR3

Hi:

 

It is not possible.

 

The memory runs at different voltages, and DDR4 memory has a different number of contact pins than DDR3 memory has.

 

DDR4 memory wouldn't even fit in the DDR3 memory slot.

 

The slots are puposely cut in different places to keep us from shorting out the motherboard, by trying to install incompatible memory.
