Hi,

which RAM is compatible to upgrade this type of laptop?

 

can the 2 memory slots be upgraded higher than 8GB?

This would be a compatible 8 GB memory chip for any 15-da0xxx notebook with an 8th or 7th gen core, Pentium or Celeron processor...

Hi:

 

It depends on what model processor your notebook has.

 

If it has an Intel core processor, you can install up to 2 x 8 GB of memory.

 

If it has an Intel Celeron or Pentium processor, it has one memory slot and the max memory the slot can support is 1 x 8 GB.

 

See chapter 1 of the service manual for the memory upgrade info...
