HP ENVY x360 - m6-aq103dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP ENVY X360-M6-AQ103DX. Installed RAM 12GB. Core i5 7 th Gen 

I have recently upgraded Internal Hard drive to 1 TB SSD. Now i want to upgrade (increased) RAM capacity and also want to have migration to windows 11 from windows 10.

Please help which RAM should i install.

Hi:

 

I recommend the memory that Crucial indicates is compatible with your notebook.

 

You only need to replace the 4 GB memory chip with an 8 GB memory chip, since the max memory is 2 x 8 GB.

Your PC's hardware does not meet Microsoft's minimum W11 hardware requirements and there is nothing you can do to make your notebook meet the hardware requirements.

 

If you are interested in installing W11 on your PC as is, you can read this discussion for how I upgraded several HP and Dell notebook and desktop PC's that did not meet the W11 hardware requirements to W11 22H2.

 

You have to use the version of the Rufus utility that I zipped up and attached in the discussion (v3.18).

If the in-place upgrade fails, you should be able to clean install W11 using the bootable W11 installation flash drive you made with Rufus.
