RAM Updrage 15s-gr0010AU (296D4PA)

My laptop model is 15s-gr0010AU (296D4PA). Have already 8GB ram. I wish to additionally add 16GB RAM. The reason was while I'm using solidworks 2018(Mechanical Modeling Software) and chrome on same time laptop getting slow. And laptop have intergraded graphics only. Also plan to install solidworks 2024 version. it get affect system RAM?
Pl suggest which can i add 16GB or 8GB RAM. And also suggest a products with link to buy at online it may very helpful to avoid wrong selection by my self

Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates the maximum memory is 2 x 8 GB.

If you want to see if your notebook will support more than 16 GB of memory, run this command:

1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.

This will open the command prompt.

2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and press the enter key.

There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.

The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.

If the report indicates you can install 2 x 16 GB (32 GB) of memory, this should be a compatible 16 GB memory chip for your notebook:

Installing more memory may help [erformance somewhat, but the weakest link when running graphics-intensive programs is the onboard graphics.

I was checked as per your word. It came like this. In this situation i capable to add additional 16GB of RAM as your provided the link. correct?
If i install 16GB RAM of my laptop, First slot is 8GB and second slot is 16GB.  Have any issue there?

Yes. that is correct.

You should have to problem installing a 16 GB memory chip in the empty slot.

I'm kind of surprised the report returned a 64 GB result.

I was expecting 32 GB.

Do note however that 24 GB of memory will still run in single channel mode like the 8 GB is now because in order for the memory to run in dual channel mode, matching capacity memory has to be installed in each slot (2 x 8 GB, 2 x 16 GB, etc..).

Above image RAM is currently inside of  my laptop. That mentioned 3200AA. 
I think my case only add 8GB RAM(Existing 8 and now 8), right?
Your amazon link was came 16GB RAM(In this case if any option to add 16GB RAM instead of 8GB. Pl let me know).

If there is a DDR4-3200 MHz memory chip in your notebook, you can install this 16 GB chip instead.

Yesterday, I posted the link to the 16 GB DDR4-2666 MHz memory chip because the parts list for your notebook indicated HP installed an 8 GB DDR4-2666 MHz memory chip.

That is what I posted --your notebook came with an 8 GB DDR4-2666 MHz memory chip.
