Product: Pavilion G6-1601se
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Recently I purchased a 8GB RAM to upgrade the RAM speed to 12GB (I was already using 4GB). After installation and booting up "blue screen appears", and restarted, During each restart below error msgs received..

SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED- What Failed : Ntfs.sys

PAGE FAULT IN NONPAGED AREA- What Failed : Volsnap.sys

DRIVER IRQL NOT OR LESS EQUAL- What Failed : rdyboost.sys

 

Please give a solution for the above said..

Hi:

 

You exceeded the maximum capacity of the memory slot which is limited to 4 GB.

 

The max is 2 x 4 GB for at total of 8 GB.

 

The solution is to remove the 8 GB memory module and install 2 x 4 GB.

Do you wanna say that, My lap will not support more than a total of 8GB ??? Which Means I don't have any other option to increase my RAM ???
