Product: HP laptop Model 14

I am looking to upgrade the RAM on my laptop to play a game (the max RAM needed for the game is 8gb). The Ram is currently at 4gb which is what it came with and i was wondering what a safe amount of RAM to add would be without causing issues with the laptop. I am very computer Illiterate.
